What should I have ready before I call?

The site address, a rough description of what you want to do, and a budget range if you have one. Drawings help but aren't required — plenty of our jobs start with photos and a conversation.

Do you take on small jobs?

Small structural and repair work, yes. General handyman work, no — we'd be charging you builder rates for something a good handyman does better and cheaper, and we'll tell you that on the phone.

How far do you travel?

Around 40km from the yard. Beyond that a supervisor can't cover the site properly in a day, and rather than take the work and manage it badly we'll refer you to someone closer.

Can I visit a job in progress?

Yes, with the current owner's permission and the right footwear. It's the single most useful thing you can do before choosing a builder — a tidy, well-run site tells you more than any brochure.
